Ong Seong Wu

Ong Seong Wu is a South Korean singer and actor under Fantagio. He was born in Incheon, South Korea. He is a former member of the South Korean boy group Wanna One. He graduated from Dong Seoul University with a major in Performing Arts. Before signing with Fantagio as an acting trainee in 2016, he worked as a model for various online shopping websites.

In 2017, he competed on the survival show "Produce 101 Season 2", where he finished in 5th place and qualified to be a member of the show’s project group Wanna One. He carried out activities with the temporary group from August 2017 to December 2018.

After Wanna One's disbandment, he continued his career as an actor and solo musician. He took part in various variety programs over the years, and he made his debut as an actor in the 2019 coming-of-age television drama “Moment of Eighteen”.

He released a digital solo single titled "We Belong" on January 9, 2020. He officially made his solo debut with 1st mini album titled LAYERS along with the title track 'GRAVITY' on 25 March 2020.

He appeared alongside dancer Noze in Lee Seung Hwan and Sunwoo Jung A's music video for the song "How Could You", released on November 18, 2021.

He got nominated as Best New Actor at Blue Dragon Awards and New Wave Award for the movie "Life is Beautiful" at the 58th Daejong Film Awards.

He enlisted for his mandatory military service as an active duty soldier on April 17, 2023.
