Song Hye Kyo

Song Hye Kyo is a South Korean actress. In 1996, the 14-year-old Song, then a third-year junior high school student, won first place in the SunKyung Smart Model Contest, and she made her entertainment debut as a model for the school uniform company. This led to her being cast in a small role in her first television drama, First Love (첫사랑).

Song went on a 2-year hiatus, returning to acting in the movie version of "Hwang Jin Yi", which was released in South Korea in 2007. She then made her American debut in the Hollywood indie film "Make Yourself At Home" (originally titled Fetish) in 2008.

From 2017 until 2019, Song was married to actor Song Joong Ki, her co-star in the series "Descendants of the Sun". Edit Biography
